Meditation Practices on “CHAKRAS & KUNDALINI”

Advanced Meditation Practice becomes easier and effective when we work deeply on Energy Body i.e. Pranamaya Kosha. Kundalini, Chakras and Nadis are the prime and most essential components of the Energy Body (Pranamaya Kosha). For the inner journey the study of energy anatomy and their effect on physical, mental, and spiritual levels along with meditation practices are needed to understand and experience the chakra system, Kundalini and Nadis. Our Meditation Teacher Training program includes many meditation practices on chakra and kundalini to balance, unblock, re-align and activate them. These meditation techniques based on sound, breathing, guided instructions, visualization and mantras that intensify the awareness and awakening of the different chakras and kundalini.

Meditation Practices from “VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA”

This course also covers some of the powerful meditation techniques on Breathing, Listening, Looking etc. from “VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA”- the most ancient text on Meditation containing 112 Meditation Techniques given by Lord Shiva. The word “Vigyana” means ‘consciousness’, “Bhairava” means ‘the state which is beyond consciousness’, and “Tantra” means ‘the method’. Hence Vigyan Bhairav Tantra means the method of going beyond consciousness. VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA is all inclusive and first practical Manual in world of meditation and also called as Encyclopedia of Meditation Techniques. It starts with Devi’s questions and the techniques are the outcome of the response to the questions by Shiva. It is said that it is impossible for anybody not to find a technique suitable to his own level of spiritual development and inner temperament out of 112 techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

Together with my daughter I did the 15 day’s life transformation-course with yoga and meditations. We choose for this course because we want to go deeper than just a yoga-vacation. And we did go deeper: swami is very good in to coordinate the different types of meditation and music. We learned a lot, about yoga- and meditation techniques and about ourselves. Most of the meditations are with music, which I found very nice. The place in Rishikesh is very nice: a very beautiful garden with three small buildings (hotel, yoga-hall, restaurant). It was very handy to sleep en eat at the same place as the course. And, the lively and colorful city is only 100 meters away. Swami explains about the meaning of silence and sounds, it was the red dread through the course. Every day we had two lessons yoga – asanas. My body is more flexible than I came! The two teachers did their best. We grateful to the whole team for the two very special weeks of our life in Yoga Essence!

My journey and experience at Yoga Essence for Yoga Retreat was wonderful and life transformational. The group of teachers of the course are amazing. Under their guidance, I learnt many asanas and their modifications with proper alignment and adjustment so that I could able to maintain those asanas easily without further complications. The course was eye opening for me regarding the importance of Pranayama and Meditation to deal with difficult situation of life, control emotions and how to eradicate deep root traumas and emotional issues. Samarth sir guided us step by step methodology of meditation and pranayama with their application into our day to day life. He constantly hammer on the application dimension of yoga not only for body but for mind, heart and consciousness which is lacking with most of the yoga teachers and yoga institutes.
