Yoga is the science of union of Body, Mind and Spirit. Meditative awareness or Meditation is considered to be the most supreme phenomenon as far as the union with reality is concerned. This meditative awareness, attention or observation becomes the central thread or core practice of all eight limbs of yoga.

Meditation is a state of no-mind. Meditation is a state of pure consciousness with no content. Ordinarily, our consciousness is too much full of rubbish, just like a mirror covered with dust. The mind is a constant traffic: thoughts are moving, desires are moving, memories are moving, ambitions are moving – it is a constant traffic. Even when we are asleep the mind is functioning, it is dreaming. It is still thinking; it is still in worries and anxieties. It is preparing for the next day; an underground preparation is going on.

This is the state of no meditation – just the opposite is meditation. When there is no traffic and thinking has ceased, no thought moves, no desire stirs, you are utterly silent – that silence is meditation. And in that silence truth is known, and never otherwise.

The aim of Yoga Essence is to share the essence and experience of Meditation through 12 days 100 Hour Experiential Meditation Teacher Training Course to yoga teachers, yoga students and yoga lovers. Our 100 hour Meditation training covering all aspects of human existence: Body-Breath-Mind-Heart-Soul, is imparted through various intense Meditation, Mindfulness, Yoga Nidra, Mantras, Kirtan, asana, pranayama, interactive sessions etc. Making it a unique opportunity to experience and getting equipped with many meditation techniques of different paths and traditions to share the holistic approach of meditation towards health, happiness and harmony to others. Our 100 hour Meditation TTC mainly focused on experiential and transformational aspect along with imparting the skill and methods to teach the meditation practices. The meditation practices are normally taught by combining both the core principles of yogic science and modern medical science to make it complete and contemporary.

In this course you will experience and be trained in many different meditation techniques and exercises that have been developed or recommended by Yogis, Shiva, Buddha, Contemporary masters like Gurdjieff, Osho, Sufi Mystics along with Self-Growth techniques.

Some of the techniques and exercises are more active, others more passive; some are done with a partner, some alone, some areas group. Some techniques use the senses – sight, sound, touch – and all will help you to connect with your inner world. Meditation Practices on “CHAKRAS & KUNDALINI”

Advanced Meditation Practice becomes easier and effective when we work deeply on Energy Body i.e. Pranamaya Kosha. Kundalini, Chakras and Nadis are the prime and most essential components of the Energy Body (Pranamaya Kosha). For the inner journey the study of energy anatomy and their effect on physical, mental, and spiritual levels along with meditation practices are needed to understand and experience the chakra system, Kundalini and Nadis. Our Meditation Teacher Training program includes many meditation practices on chakra and kundalini to balance, unblock, re-align and activate them. These meditation techniques based on sound, breathing, guided instructions, visualization and mantras that intensify the awareness and awakening of the different chakras and kundalini.

Meditation Practices from “PATANJALI YOGA SUTRA”

Yoga is systematic science of the inner world and higher consciousness. It is existential, experiential, and experimental. No belief or no faith is needed – only courage is needed to experiment and experience it. One will come to the truth, but not through belief, but through his own experience, through his own realization. Patanjali is the scientist of the religious world, the mathematician of mysticism, the logician of the illogical. His Yoga Sutras; a collection of aphorisms, is a step by step guide to the path of yoga outlining the practical map of the eight limbs of yoga. These Sutras are the seeds of wisdom providing us the key insights and guidelines for practice of yoga. In his Yoga Sutra Patanjali prescribes many techniques and tools to experience the state of yoga and apply them for living a meaningful and purposeful life. During this training course, you will learn some important meditation practices and key insights from Patanjali Yoga Sutra to deepen your understanding and experience of yoga.

Meditation Practices from “VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA”

This course also covers some of the powerful meditation techniques on Breathing, Listening, Looking etc. from “VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA”- the most ancient text on Meditation containing 112 Meditation Techniques given by Lord Shiva. The word “Vigyana” means ‘consciousness’, “Bhairava” means ‘the state which is beyond consciousness’, and “Tantra” means ‘the method’. Hence Vigyan Bhairav Tantra means the method of going beyond consciousness. VIGYAN BHAIRAV TANTRA is all inclusive and first practical Manual in world of meditation and also called as Encyclopedia of Meditation Techniques. It starts with Devi’s questions and the techniques are the outcome of the response to the questions by Shiva. It is said that it is impossible for anybody not to find a technique suitable to his own level of spiritual development and inner temperament out of 112 techniques of Vigyan Bhairav Tantra.

At the end of the training, you will get completion certificate of 200/100 Hours Meditation Teacher Training. You can use these training hours as valid Continuing Education Training hours with your Yoga Teacher Training course or other courses. We follow the basic principles and ethics of teaching standard of Yoga Alliance to make the courses more professional and experiential.
